Our Target Audience:
All types of businesses, targeting business owners and decision makers.
Styles that we are interested in:
Iconic
From the root word icon, an iconic type of logo is actually a symbol or figure that represents the company. Perhaps, this kind of logo is the most common but the most difficult to design as well. It includes abstract ideas that make it more complicated to draft. It requires complex ideas which are combined into one concept and translated into its simplest form.
Web 2.0
Although there no official description of "Web 2.0" logos, some common elements can include: vibrant colours, subtle 3d feel, bold type, color transitions, and shadows.
Abstract
Uses abstract shapes and symbols to convey an idea or attribute about the organization.
Wordmark
The simplest yet with the highest recall. Text or Wordmark is a uniquely styled font type that spells out the company or brand name. Though it may seem very simple, this logo type requires the most innovative type font, refreshing colors, and distinct feature, to create an impact. Because it relies solely on the texts and colors, there is a big challenge on how it will effectively build a lasting image for the brand or company it represents.
Color Preferences:
Blue / Orange
I'm not totally set on the exact shade of orange/blue, but one possible combination could be:
Orange: #ff6600
Blue: #006796
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
1. It has to be printable with one color
2. It has to be readable in very small sizes
3. It needs to have the ability to embroider and emboss it
I will provide feedback throughout the contest.
