grouphotels.com is a free website that facilitates the planning of all types of group travel online.
We are targeting groups (not individuals) who travel for any purpose (sports team, tour group, corporate training, etc.). Typically these groups require 5 hotel sleeping rooms or more per night. The typical group planner is organized, shopping for the best deal, and responsible for flawlessly executing group travel plans for a variety of personality types, age groups, backgrounds, etc.
The visitor to grouphotels.com may also be shopping for great hotel and travel rates on other websites. they are located in the USA. Being a group travel planner is probably not their 1st job; they may be a soccer mom trying to book hotel rooms for her son's soccer team who is playing in a tournament, for example.
They want to be able to trust the site and feel good about entrusting their group travel plans to the website.
i am a fan of blue but i am truly open to any colors. i also own two other companies and enjoy their logos: www.traveladvocates.com and www.hbktravel.com.
just some ideas:
perhaps play with the G and the H in grouphotels.com
perhaps emphasize the word "group" since that is the target audience (vs. individuals). and de-emphasize the word "hotels" because the site enables visitors to book more than just hotel rooms -- they can book buses, cruise ships,etc. we don't want visitors to see grouphotels and shy away from visiting if they just want to book a group cruise for example.
