Prize payment was released by the client on 26 May, 2010 but I haven't received it yet from ZenLayout. I have tried to follow up with ZenLayout by email but no response yet.

Yes, you can have Metallic Colors incorporated in your logo. You can basically have anything you like. Your logo can work with both metallic and non metallic colors, and you can have many variations of it.

It is in two mod, CMYK (Printing) and RGB ( Web ) , ask for both when receiving final files from the winning designer

Hello Anil :-) The designer will prepare the arwork for special printing with Pantone metallic color and when sending it to print, in pre-press the plates of CMYK and special color or just special colors will go out separated. Hope this helps.

Let me give you an example of #6813. If you want the color of 'station' and the ripples around the finger in chrome or metallic silver, the designer will provide you a different artwork for printing purpose with specific modifications to the logo artwork that will indicate the 'offset' printer to either emboss the logo with a chrome foil or print a metallic silver color on it. As I have worked extensively on artworks with 'special' colors I know the process inside out.

If any Designer can answer the following question we would be grateful:
As far as colours go, is it possible to have metallic colours incorporated in the logo, such as silver or chrome. I presume this has to be done at the design stage and not at the print stage, hope someone can answer this for me.

Thank you for your kind comment Anil & Team :-) It was a pleasure to enter your contest.
Whatever your decision is wish you all the best for the contest and your business.
You all did a magnificent job in displaying your creative talent. This, our first experience with Zenlayout has proved to be great and we would love for all of you to be winners, but there can only be one, unfortunately. Our judging is going to be tough as so many good designs were submitted. For those of you that don't win, rest assured we still liked your design.
Good luck in future contests to all of you.
Regards from the team and Anil!
